Richard and Trish Power's struggle to get home
Sun Mar 22, 2020 10:35 pm
Richard and Trish had an exciting visit to Antarctica on a small cruise ship designed for such an adventure with 400 other passengers and 100 crew members. When they returned to the southern-most port of Argentina, a city of 100,000 they were not let off the ship and instead anchored offshore for a quarantine period. No reported cases of the virus onboard, thank God.
But now they're struggling to get home. Already revised their schedule a number of times. They are now in Buenos Aires and their flight home was just canceled by the airline. Hoping to get on the flight to Houston tomorrow (the 23rd).
And from there to SFO...hopefully with not another quarantine.
Keep 'em in your thoughts

Thanks for the update, please keep us updated! and of course, if there is anything we can do, aside from flying there to get them ourselves...

Richard emailed this morning that the airlines are sending him "inconsistent emails over and over...no one knows."
